The VF-A universal safety light curtain is the heavy-duty reference model of the VIFAR range. A 50 x 35 mm anodized aluminium extrusion carries the optical boards in a rigid closed profile that resists impact, vibration and electrical noise on press brakes, stamping centres and large forming equipment. Four beam gaps, protection heights from 60 to 1880 mm and a 30 m cascading capability let one series guard an entire production cell without mixing product families, which simplifies spare-part stock for European, North American and Southeast Asian machine builders.

Model code VF-A + beam count + beam-gap letter (A = 10 mm, B = 20 mm, C = 30 mm, D = 40 mm). H is the protective height and L is the total housing length including both end covers. Every two additional optical axes add 2 x beam gap to H and L, so any intermediate height inside the tabulated range can be quoted without a new drawing.
Application and Industry ScenariosTypical installations include power presses and press brakes, stamping and deep-drawing cells, hydraulic and pneumatic presses, robotic welding cells, palletizers, shearing machines, bending centres, transfer lines, three-dimensional parking systems and perimeter guarding around automated storage. The long protective distance and 30 m cascade make the series suitable for wide openings where a single pair cannot span the hazard, and for retrofit projects in Europe and Southeast Asia where an existing machine guard has to be upgraded to a Type 4 barrier without changing the machine frame.

Every set is packed as a transmitter and receiver pair in a rigid carton with EPE foam, together with two mounting brackets, M6 screws, signal cables, a manual and a test report. Cartons are export-grade and can be palletized for container loading. Each unit passes 22 incoming-material inspections, 15 in-process quality controls and 7 OBA checks before OQA release, and the factory runs environmental, radio-wave interference, electrostatic, housing-strength, RoHS, salt-spray and outdoor vibration tests on the production sample.
